Sherene Gupta Rapoport is our VP of Sales and Marketing. She also oversees all operations for GRC to ensure client projects are executed smoothly and efficiently.
Her passion is helping clients, whether on one-off projections or multi-faceted marketing and outreach strategies. She is particularly motivated by implementing new services and strategies that better support the fundraising and membership communities. She is dedicated to working with clients who can see the bigger picture and are committed to social change. Sherene graduated from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., with a degree in International Affairs and Chinese. She is a co-founder of Justice IQ, a non-profit aimed at educating citizens so they can be better jurors. She also volunteers with the Moms Demand Action, and is the Community Liaison for her local group. A cancer survivor, Sherene actively takes care of herself both physically and emotionally. She has a 6-year-old daughter that is the joy of her life. She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband.
Candice White has been supporting GRC clients in Customer Support and Project Management roles since 2008, part of her two decades of experience working with nonprofits and associations.
She provides consistent management on Acquisition, Appeal, and Renewal programs.
Candice is invested in the success and support of her clients and she strives to deliver a positive, personal and valued experience to her clients. Hard-working and enthusiastic, her dedication to her client’s customer service experience is inspiring.
Candice is a native Virginian, growing up in nearby Warrenton. She enjoys spending time with her twin boys, as well as her two grandchildren. She also enjoys reading and taking walks in her beautiful, small-town community.
Lindsay Morrow is the newest addition to our GRC team, all the way from Rome, Georgia! She is working in Customer Service while also supporting both Sales and Marketing projects for GRC.
Lindsay is very outgoing and loves to work with people, and the causes they are passionate about.
In her spare time, she enjoys anything involving crafts, going to the gym, following Georgia Bulldogs football, and being outside wearing flip-flops amid the scent of sunscreen. She is the proud momma of three beautiful girls.
Arvind Gupta is the President of Grassroot Communication (GRC) as well as one of the company’s founders. Launched in 1986 as a small copy shop , the company has evolved into a hybrid of a full service print/graphic design/production facility and marketing agency that specializes in serving membership and fundraising organizations.
Arvind has spent the last 25 years working primarily with fundraising organizations to help them maximize their individual donor funding. His vast expertise spans the print-production and marketing outreach areas, including direct-response marketing, fundraising, membership acquisition and retention, recordation/financial reconciliation, and reporting. He is also experienced at developing data-driven strategies to drive campaigns. His experience extends to organizational administration as well. He has created, implemented and monitored performance of annual budgets, including revenue and expense projections and evaluation metrics.
Arvind earned his undergraduate degree in mathematics from Delhi University and an MBA from BHU-UP. Arvind has served on the board of several non -profits, including Marg Foundation and Be Happy. Arvind enjoys hiking, gardening and is an avid reader. He lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and business partner Sushma.
Sushma Gupta is a co-founder of Grassroot Communication and serves as the firm’s VP of New Client Outreach and Public Relations.
Sushma focuses on cultivating new relationships and ensuring the firm’s presence is known and felt within the communities it serves. She is always ready for a conversation with a smile and truly enjoys meeting and working with people in supporting them in their long term goals. She also manages all human resources-related aspects for the GRC team.
A graduate of Delhi University with a degree in biology and chemistry, Sushma lives in Northern Virginia with husband and GRC partner Arvind.
